And so we go.
Sorry for starting this off with a Pendragon quote. Pendragon belongs to DJ MacHale and his publishers.
Staring a new blog off, though, is a pretty good experience. It leaves behind those old websites you don't want to be on anymore, and you can get a new user name without being accidentally found by people from the past sites. Let me start this blog off by rambling without guilt about what I did today.
Today was good, for the most part. Went to the coffee shop at six a.m. and talked with everyone there for a while. I was trying to read, but this little girl kept staring at me and making really strange, loud noises, so I went back to listening as the shop owner read aloud all these weird text messages she was getting on her phone from a guy in town.
I waited for the craft store to open, but she never gets there to open at ten, so I walked to a friend's house, and we eventually drove back. It was finally open a little after noon. Found a really nice tea pot and cup, but for practicality reasons (no space left for pots), I only got the cup. It's got a few cracks along the glaze, but the rest of it is in good shape. Not sure I'll ever put it in the microwave, though.
Friend almost got a fifty dollar parking ticket, since apparently there was street cleaning, but the sign had fallen off the post on that side of the street, so there was really no way we could have known, since it was only the second week they were doing it down that street.
Went home, slept a bit and read, then went to work for a measly five hours. Came home, and went online. Endless excitement.
